Semi Closed Cell EPDM Foam
The foam is designed and produced from the base material EPDM rubber with semi closed cell structure for a wide range of high-performance cushioning and sealing applications.
Main Feature
☆ Low density, soft and easy to use. Effectively and adequately seal even if the gap being filled is greatly deteriorated.
☆ When compressed by 80%, the watertight effect comparable to closed-cell foam can be achieved.
☆ The rebound force is small when compressed, and does not cause deformation of the opponent or structural parts after filling.
☆ Low VOC, meet the requirements of the automotive industry.
☆ Durability, weather resistance, cold resistance, UV resistance, chemical resistance, and resistance to deterioration
☆ Sheets and rolls are both available.
Application
☆ Mainly used in automotive air conditioning modules, interiors, rearview mirrors, center columns, windshields, etc. need to be waterproof, airtight, sound insulation, sound absorption, heat insulation, vibration, buffer and other parts.
